Unusual offer story to acquire an old BMW goes viral on social media; woman claims to have husband’s consent

A used car seller in Malaysia expressed his surprise after a woman proposed intimate relations as a way to settle a 7,000 ringgit (about $1,600) debt for the purchase of a vehicle.

Identified on social media as Mfa Bob, the seller — who is married — shared on April 22 that a female customer offered to “trade her body” for the car he was selling.

The ad for the old BMW, priced at 18,000 ringgit ($4,100), was posted on April 21 by Mfa Bob, who lives in Penang, in the northwest of the country. Shortly after the ad, a woman reached out saying she could only pay 11,000 ringgit and suggested an intimate encounter to make up the difference.

Surprised, the seller shared screenshots of the conversation on a social network, generating more than 6,000 reactions and 800 comments. In a later update, he reported that the woman kept insisting on the offer.

According to the account, she called multiple times to confirm the vehicle details, assuring her identity and stressing that her husband was aware and approved of the agreement.

Nevertheless, she continued asking for Mfa Bob’s banking details to make the cash payment. The seller described the situation as traumatic and said, “Money is not worth trading your dignity for.”

Determining that he would only accept the full amount in cash, he continued searching for interested buyers. Jokingly, he commented that, if the car remained unsold, “he would accept the offer if the BMW wasn’t sold by next week.”
